The Avon RC Flyers are excited to announce that we will be holding our annual Fun Fly on July 27/2024, with a rain date of July 28/2024. A great time with friends awaits all who can make it out. There will be a BBQ, beverages, lots of flying and a lot of crossed fingers for great weather. Proof of MAAC will be required. Be sure to bring the family, a lawn chair, and your favorite hat. We’ll have tents set up for shade, but feel free to bring your own as well. We look forward to seeing you there! We are located at #4499 Highway #14, past Daniel’s U-Pick, and the Bent Ridge Winery. Flying starts at 9:00.

WOW.  :Raa Raa Great weather, 33 registered fliers (although there was a bunch who came late and didn't sign up; likely another 6 or 7) Almost enough food and we had to improvise :dead_horse We had fliers from South Shore, ASRCM, Beaverbank, and WOW.  Trevor Furlotte came all  the way down from Frederiction.  :aviater

Great Hobbies put in an apperance with some TimBits, and the promise they'll be back next year. And we had a significant first.......I've been attending fun flies and stuff for 48 years; this is the first time in my memory that we've had a spectator (enforced not voluntary) hooked up to an IV during the afternoon!!!!!!!  Can you spell dedication???
