Looking at the weather and my own commitments, my plan is to do what I can starting Wednesday morning the 9th, continuing on the 10th if necessary.

To the Wednesday flying crew, we should be able to work out something if needed. Weather dependent activities always a challenge. Hope it dries out some by then.

What is the present runway condition, does it need mowing?

Barry I mowed the main runway ,Pitt, and half the crosswind one .Was up Thurs.Oct.3 and mowed the other part .Parking lot was not mowed.Only one mower working the other won't  keep the belt on .The grass is not growing much now I don't  know how much since last tues. I'm going to the store latter I can drop by the field after and tell you later what it looks like.

Thanks for the info guys.  Seems a day or two for field to dry up may be helpful.  Turns out I'll not be available on Thursday or Friday after all due to appointments.

Lots of rain forecast for the next few days, so will try it again on the weekend.   Cheers.

Too much wind to fly but good for drying the grass. Am heading out this afternoon to do some mowing and or trimming.

Can’t make it tomorrow.

Runways and pit areas are trimmed and mowed. Kevin B. dropped by and did all the mowing while I trimmed and learned more about installing the line in the trimmer head.

By the way the all fuel jugs are empty.

If weather cooperates for flying over the next few days, the field is good to go!
